TOPMAN DESIGN PULLS IT OUT THE BAG AGAIN! YESTERDAY AT LONDON FASHION WEEK SAW A SHOWCASE OF CHUNKY PARKA JACKETS
The colour palette began with a clean array of whites creams and greys. Layering was key using subtle tonal blocking.
Knits were heavy combined with shearling coats and bold fur trims.
Straying away from darker AW tones TOPMAN DESIGN endeavor a warm yet masculine image contrasting the light colourways with sharp outerwear tailoring and oversized collars.
A patterned double-breasted peacoat adds to the wow factor in what looks like a fine gage luxury wool.
A burst of bright orange brings the entire outfit together and puts a modern twist on a classic silhouette.
Hi-top walking boots emphasize a baggy AUBERGINE pant paired down with a simple claret jumper and matching belt. I like the fingerless gloves which give the impression of joining onto the jumper and elongate the silhouette.
Fur trimmed parkas continue in an array of eye catching colours. By keeping to a tonal colour palette the bold red jacket does not appear out of place and offsets the entire outfit rather than standing alone paired with say a black pant.
To finish off an oversized utility rucksack adds a casual vibe to a tailored jacket. Keeping it on trend and wearable. Need one in my life.
More LONDON COLLECTIONS TO FOLLOW.
