Alexander McQueen opened SS14 with a catwalk of ivory lace overlay formalwear. The overall mood had a very sombre and somewhat eerie feel, complete with slick back Victorian hair and miserable faces.
The cut of McQueens tailoring as show-stopping as ever showcased in contrast lace overlays and beautiful vintage style butterfly prints.
Not one for formality my favourite piece was the distressed open knit as well as the oversized pocket detailing on a press stud jacket.

The Dominic Jones collection had an indie edge featuring vintage check shirts paired back with shades and plain tees for a laid back approach. I'm enjoying the black quilted bomber -in a shorter length with sleeve detailing. The retro Hawaiian print shirt also works well and adds colour to an otherwise dark Spring Summer Collection.
