Elvis Jesus

Up and coming Manchester brand Elvis Jesus has caught my attention this year. Not only because one of my close friends is now a member of the Elvis Jesus team -but because their raw menswear designs and attention to detail has made a refreshing change to the usual boring shit thrown out on the high street of recent.
Quirky Ad campaigns set them apart from competitors and the new SS12 range is looking just as edgy, merging elements of popular culture in a range that now includes knitwear, leather, tailoring, sweats and denim -as well as an extensive jersey collection.
One step ahead of their game previous Elvis Jesus campains have featured model Max Rogers who is now famous for modelling for the likes of Tommy Hilfiger amongst others.

You could easily compare the likes of Elvis Jesus to brands such as All Saints -however they focus heavily on smaller detailing such as embellishment, embroidery and beading. Adding personal elements such as this to their clothing gives a classic design an Elvis Jesus slant.

This is my personal favourite:

With the same level of graphic imagery and embellishment as brands such as Ed Hardy, Elvis Jesus some-how manage to incorporate a level of street sophistication where others have failed. Choosing subtle fonts and wording in favour of understated chic.

We took a break from work today and made use of the new bar that has opened up over the road. BAKERIE.
Located in the heart of Manchester's Northern Quarter - Bakerie boasts a partnership of freshly baked breads, homely food and refreshing cocktails.

Whilst lunching with the ladies topic evidently turned to shoes and Jeffrey Campbell cropped up several times.

I took to research.
The website boasts an amazing lookbook with some unique footwear and engaging photos.

Predominantly women's footwear although - Solestruck offers an impressive menswear collection.

Also Available in BLACK these wicker shoes are immense! Sold out on certain sites as they were released aaages ago but I hope they bring out some more just in time for Summer!
STARX MAN One seriously attractive shoe.  - Classic desert boot reworked on a crepe sole
This leather pull on is so fresh and different compared to other mens footwear and would complete any outfit casual kitsch.
